Get Involved

Bring knowledge, equipment, connections, or questions.

Community Frequency is an open, independent project. We are interested in people and organizations that can help us investigate the problem honestly and practically.

Technical collaboration

We welcome experience in rural and remote communications, amateur radio, HF and antennas, low-power radio and mesh networking, satellite communications, solar and off-grid power, emergency communications, engineering, research, and field deployment.

Local knowledge and introductions

Useful connections can be as important as equipment. Introductions to radio clubs, researchers, community organizations, rural or Indigenous communities, local technical professionals, and people with relevant field experience can help us understand the problem before we propose solutions.

Equipment support

Equipment contributions may help expand controlled testing and field research. Hardware is evaluated as part of the research rather than assumed to be a deployment solution.

Financial support

Financial support helps cover project-specific feasibility work, equipment, field testing, documentation, and related expenses.

Important: Community Frequency is an independent project and is not currently a registered nonprofit, NGO, 501(c)(3), or charity. Contributions should not be represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.

Let's talk

Whether you have technical experience, a field connection, equipment to discuss, or simply a perspective we should hear, the best contribution may be helping us ask a better question.
